TOPIC | BACKUP

• Insert correct days DVD into drive of TOPIC fileserver.

• On the fileserver in TOPIC at ENTER USER ID: BACKUP (enter)

• You will then be given a series of question – answer N (No) to ALL.

• TOPIC Backup will then start – let backup complete.

Go to Desktop

• Click icon TOPIC DVD Backup

• Click Next

• Disc Name – enter the Date

• Click Burn


When Backup is complete – click OK – DVD will be ejected.

Close of any screens which are no longer required.

DVDs should either be kept in a fireproof safe or away from the office.

NB: Please note you have 6 DVDs labelled Monday to Saturday – please use on correct days.

A TOPIC backup MUST be completed EVERY night and should NOT be incorporated with any other backup.
